Welcome To Everyday Christian Fellowship

We’re so glad you chose to visit everyday.family. We are a diverse congregation representing people from a variety of backgrounds, nations, races, and ages. Everyday is known for its dynamic worship experience, practical life teaching, loving atmosphere and generosity to others.

The beginning point in the Everyday Christian Fellowship experience for most is Sunday morning. Our Sunday morning services are designed to help you connect with God. It’s where teaching, worship, music, and the arts come together to bring life and faith into a clearer focus. We have two identical services that you can choose from at 9:30 and 11:00am.  We offer kids ministries for all ages at both services.

Our passion is our community and our neighbors, meeting needs wherever and whenever we can, connecting people to God and to each other. Whether you’re investigating the Christian faith or you’re coming at the invitation of a neighbor or friend, we’re glad you’re checking us out.

You are God’s workmanship, created in Christ to do good works! We’ll help you discover the life of high adventure when you surrender all to Jesus.
Everyday really is a team. Alongside our Pastors are a world-class team of staff and volunteers.  We can’t do it without you!

Our Mission

To Develop Fully Devoted

Disciples of Jesus

(Matthew 22:37-39; Matthew 28:18-20;

Luke 14:27; John 8:31; John 13:35)

Our Beliefs

God is the Creator and ruler of the universe. He has eternally existed in three persons- the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

Man is made in the spiritual image of God, to be like Him in character. He is the supreme object of God’s creation. Although man has tremendous potential for good, he is marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called “sin”. Sin separates man from God.

Man was created to exist forever. He will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or in union with God through forgiveness and salvation. Eternal separation from God in hell is an eternal reality for those who do not have a relationship with God through Jesus. To be eternally in union with Christ is eternal life in Heaven.  Heaven and hell are places of eternal existence.

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father. Jesus was born of a virgin through the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived a sinless human life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all men by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead after three days to demonstrate His Power over sin and death. He ascended to heaven’s glory and will return again to earth to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords and take all of His children who have been born again with Him to heaven.

Salvation is a gift from God to man. Man can never make up for his sin by self-improvement or good works – only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can man be saved from sin’s penalty. Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus Christ as Lord by faith.

Because God gives man eternal life through Jesus Christ, the believer is secure in salvation for eternity. Salvation is maintained by the grace and power of God, not by the self-effort of the Christian.

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He is present in the world to make man aware of their need for Jesus Christ. He also lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation. He provides the Christian with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right. The Christian seeks to live under His control daily.

The Holy Spirit is promised to all born again Christians.  He then comes to live in the life of those believers.  He, the Holy Spirit, gives believers the ability to please God and accomplish the will of God. (Acts 2:4,38-39; 10:44-46; 19:1-6; Ephesians 5:18, Hebrews 11:6). Receiving the Holy Spirit results in spiritual fruit (Galatians 5:22,23), growth in Christ-likeness (2 Corinthians 3:18), spiritual gifts (1 Corinthians 12:1-11), and an effective prayer life (Romans 8:26, 27).

The Bible is God’s word to all men. It is written by human authors under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth for Christian beliefs and living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without any mixture of error.

Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and Lord. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is an ordinance given to all believers by Jesus Christ to remember His sacrifice for us and to symbolize the new covenant. The elements of bread and juice are symbols of Christ’s broken body and shed blood. Communion is not a means of salvation. Rather, it is a testament of a believer’s faith in the atoning work of the cross.

Every Sunday we bring a message of hope. The only hope to be found in Jesus.

As we begin opening our hearts, hands, and time to serve, not only are we part of changing the lives of others, but we are also subject to the changing of our own lives. We encourage everyone to find their place of ministry and serve a service and attend a service.  We also have various outreaches and mission projects that happen throughout the year.

Your S.H.A.P.E.

This S.H.A.P.E test  should be completed before attending the Membership Class and is designed to assist you in defining your strengths that relate to ministry and service in our church.  The inventory is not designed to be an exhaustive analysis of spiritual gifts.  Its purpose is to highlight areas of strength based on what you feel motivates you spiritually and to enable you to pinpoint areas of ministry for which you are gifted. This can and should change as you grow in Christ.
“There are different kinds of SPIRITUAL GIFTS but the same Spirit gives them.  There are different WAYS OF SERVING, but the same Lord is served.  There are different ABILITIES to perform service, but the same God gives ability to everyone for their service.  The Spirit’s presence is shown IN SOME WAY in each one, for the good of all.”  1 Cor. 12:4-7 (GN)

“Each one of you, as a good manager of God’s different gifts, must use for the good of others, the spiritual gift he has received from God.”  1 Peter 4:10 (GN)

“The Holy Spirit displays God’s power through each of us as a means of helping the entire church.”  1 Cor. 12:7 (LB)
